Because every element of our yachts is designed and built to the highest standards, it can be difficult to identify a “favorite” element on our luxury sportfishers. However, one area that does stand out as a favorite among many Cabo customers is the woodwork. It's handcrafted beauty and finish is equal, and sometimes superior to what you might find in multi-million dollar estate homes. We start with the highest grade, solid teak wood that has been stored in our temperature and humidity controlled woodhouse. Once rough-cut and assembled, cabinetry is meticulously sanded, starting with 80-grit sandpaper and moving all the way to ultra smooth, 400 grit sandpaper. We finish with a wet sanding process for a consistent, smooth finish, and then apply multiple coats of satin varnish for a beautiful, durable finish. And not only is our cabinetry beautiful, it's cross-hatched vented design is highly functional, allowing air circulation which can be so critical in a marine environment.
