DECKING

There is simply no better hull to deck joining process in the industry than that used by Cabo Yachts. Carefully mated external flanges are fitted and joined using 3M 5200 polyurethane adhesive for a permanent watertight seal. The flanges are then bolted together on 4 foot centers using 1X20 bronze bolts. The entire joint is then fiberglassed with two passes of heavy glass reinforcement. Most builders use only two of these methods while some settle for only one. Cabo Yachts uses all three for maximum hull to deck integrity and strength.
