Dear Mr. Bourque,
I'm a Captain and have
been one many many years and here are some comments you can keep,
pass on or through away
but hopefully you'll accept the complement.
Through the course of
my career I've worked and run lots of boats of all sizes. From
26 foot to 146 foot. Some
motor yacht style, sport yacht and some Sportfish style.
No matter how big or what name is on it, I've yet to see the quality
your
company, and its employees, put in the Cabo. I ran a Cabo
once
which a friend of mine was running and was hooked by it's
performance and quality from that point on. People can boast that
they
have a boat named after the companies founder (Bertram), an area
in
North Carolina (Hatteras) or custom built, but I've yet to
see the care and quality as put into your vessel. When ever I
meet someone who wants a vessel, I always recommend the Cabo.
The
real complement comes from my wife who does not like the
water (she an equestrian).
When she saw the Red
Sled she said "Now that's a boat". When I took her
through your vessel and showed her the care and quality, she
was really impressed. As a Yacht Captain, I know I'll never afford
a new Cabot but if I decided to retire and open a small fishing
charter business I told her I would first get Cabo and secondly,
I'd open it in Stuart, Florida. My wife said "why Stuart?" I
said "because there's already a Cabo in Pompano and perfection
can't compete with perfection."
If your going to be at the
Palm Beach Show or the Miami Show please let me know where and
I'd love to stop and
see you.
Sincerely,
Anonymous
